DESCRIPTION:
The role of a SLED Account Executive/Business Development (DC Capital Region) at E-Logic is one of energy, strategy and leadership. Account Executives are the forward members of the company engaged in understanding customer pain, identifying and building critical relationships, and prospecting for new and unpublished opportunities.

Account Executives are the senior leaders of sales, consistently working to introduce, identify and expand our presence as a company with a target agency. Account Executives work closely with capture and the business development team to develop and deliver an actionable account strategy informed by critical relationships and client perception.

Account Executives represent the company to vendors and teaming partners, making strategic assessments on capabilities and establishing risk/reward matrices for every unique opportunity capture.

The Account Executive will be responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery all aspects of the sales process to include:

  • Prospecting on CBE/LDBE/SB/Sole-Source/BPA/IDIQs
  • Relationship identification and growth through teaming partner selection
  • Identification of the most advantageous method to building key relationships
  • Win theme identification
  • Win strategy development

 

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed monthly Sales Revenue and Gross Profit target goals
  • Develop comprehensive account plans; identify and qualify new business opportunities; develop innovative capture strategies; and assist in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.
  • Develop and implement an effective agency focused sales strategy and account penetration plan
  • Conduct customer sales calls
  • Participate in marketing events such as small business conferences, industry days, seminars, trade shows, and webinar marketing events.

 

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of SLED trends and buying practices in DC/VA/MD
  • Strong track record generating and closing contracts
  • Strong track record generating and closing business opportunities with SLED
  • Strong track record of generating and closing subcontracting opportunities with prime contractors.
  • Proven successful track record with annual quotas in excess of $5 million.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with Government Appropriations and contracting process.
  • Owns a “rolodex” of relationships that will help to develop, maintain, and leverage appropriate strategic alliances within the marketplace. Expands existing relationships and build new ones.
  • SLED Contract experience
  • Active involvement in the SLED industry, trade and/or professional associations.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of SLED sales in any of the following areas:
    • System integration
    • Technology services
    • Software as a service
    • Hardware/Software Sales
    • VAR (IT & A/V)
